7 days a week at 12:30 p.m. (except during other special events)
Where:
In the Warden Oasis Theater
How Long:
25-30 minutes

Join our animal keepers for an informal 25–30 minute live animal presentation! Relax in our air-conditioned theater while meeting some of the Sonoran Desert’s amazing animals and hearing their unique stories. Discover the adaptations, behaviors, and ecology of these creatures, as well as the environments they call home, featuring the furry, feathered, and scaly residents of the Desert Museum. Keepers will answer your questions after each animal gets their time in the spotlight. Shows vary and may include mammals, birds, reptiles, and more.

These live animal presentations are offered by the staff of the HIIZ (Herpetology, Icthyology, and Invertebrate Zoology) and IAC (Interpretive Animal Collection) departments.
